The Simple Change That Will Have a Significant Impact on Your Income – Day 2

The fundamentals of IM are fairly standard…

…offer a gift, collect email addresses and then send those individuals emails suggesting products or services that you think may help or interest them.

However very often the difference between success and failure are the small details within this model.

I wrote yesterday that the main thing I changed to make a difference to my business was offering products that I had created (sometimes with a little help from PLR).

Today I wanted to add the second tweak that made sure my efforts get the maximum results .

Again a very simple thing, but when you get your head round it, you will see the potential.

This difference was the promotion of continuity or membership products or services (whether my own or affiliate products).

For those that are unsure, what we are talking about here are products or services that have an ongoing payment or fee plan.

A good example might be Autoresponder services or a newsletter subscription.

Think about it for a moment…

… if you send a mail out to your list promoting a product, you are over the moon when the income from the sales you make drop into your PayPal.

HOWEVER this is a one off. Once the purchases stop, so does the income.

Next week/next month you are starting all over again from zero.

Now let’s imagine you were promoting a continuity product.

Quite possibly you may get less people taking you up on the offer.

Not a problem, because I guarantee you if you have chosen a quality continuity service or membership, a percentage will stick with their membership.

The consequence of this is that all of a sudden, rather than get paid for your efforts once, you get paid for them over, and over, and over again.

Even those months where you decide to bugger off and sun yourself on some beach somewhere!

It was when I got my head round this little fact that my business benefited big time.
