Mentoring!
I listened to the success other people had had, how they did it and what pit falls they came across on the way.
All of a sudden I could see that mine really was a minor hiccough when compared to the stories of others. All of a sudden the big picture was revealed to me and I re-found the motivation of the potential of online marketing.
It would be good to say this was my only wobble on the path to online income, but being human there have been plenty of wobbly moments.
If you are on your own and you hit a sticky patch, a launch hasn’t brought the cash in you’d hoped, no one is buying your products etc etc (as successful as you are, you will experience these times!) it is easy to get overwhelmed by circumstances and just give up.
However with a mentor, they can bring balance to your situation, allow you to see the long game and just generally get you back up on your feet to try again.
I genuinely think they are worth their weight in gold.
So my advice to you, if you are committed to making a success of your online business is to go out there and find yourself a mentor.
Sign up to lists, and when you find a marketer you can relate to, that says things the way you like things said, check out if they have a mentoring program, or even just strike up an informal relationship with them.
Why go it alone, get out there and find your mentor now, it makes life so much easier!
In addition to providing you with a way of gaining strength at times of difficulty, a mentor can also work to help provide thoughts and ideas to help your business that you would never have thought of on your own.
I know a lot of people who are starting out, can’t afford the sort of money that people are asking for their mentoring groups.
Again I know this because I was once that man!
