Internet marketing can be a very simple process.
No – honestly it can.
However the problem is that people try to complicate it. Usually people who have something to flog.
Now as a marketer I have nothing against selling stuff, quite the opposite. However I do know that it is this ‘shiney object’ syndrome of the next big thing very often muddies the water for the person just starting out.
With this in mind, I want to share with you a genuine three step quick start business that you can build as big as you want – as quickly as you want.
It is tried and tested and is at the heart of most if not all major internet marketers’ businesses (including mine :))
So here goes
Step 1: Create yourself a short guide to give away in exchange for an email address.
You can either produce this from scratch or if you are not comfortable writing things from scratch, find a quality PLR (Private Label Rights) package and rewrite an element of this. This is the ‘list building’ you hear about in Internet Marketing circles.
Step 2: Find a product related to the freebie to promote
Once people have provided their email address in exchange for the free guide offer them a product or service that you believe will help them
(IMPORTANT – The offer must be related to the free guide).
This could either be an affiliate product from places like JVZOO or Clickbank or something you are offering for sale (this could be the main part of the PLR product you purchased in
Step 1 to create the initial free guide – obviously this will be very related to the original freebie).
This element starts to bring in some cash straight away and if nothing else will help cover the cost of any paid for traffic.
Step 3: The final step is to mail your list with offers for quality products.
These can be as an affiliate or preferably products you own the rights for. Again they should be related to the product that you gave away originally.
There you go, as a certain meerkat mentions on the TV over here in the UK- SIMPLES!
