I sometimes think that achieving success online is really unfair.
In the early days, you have to put in so much effort only to see little or no tangible reward.
However, I see this as the big dipper car being slowly and laboriously dragged to the top of the slope.
As with the big dipper ride, you get to a point where all that effort suddenly starts paying dividends.
Your business suddenly picks up momentum and suddenly becomes so much more exciting.
You start seeing the rewards, other marketers fall over themselves to provide you with review copies, you get the confidence to create your own products, stuff just seems to start going in your direction without you trying that hard.
So if you are on the uphill bit of your ‘big dipper’, just remember your hill might be long, or it might be relatively short. Either way, if you don’t keep pulling that car up, you are just going to slip backward and go back to where you started.
Keep that consistent effort up to move you forward and eventually, you WILL reach that point of no return where your business starts moving with its own momentum and you can just go along for the ride.
(Quite proud of this analogy – amazing where your mind goes when you are dropping off to sleep 🙂 )
