TRAFFIC – where do I get it?
It’s the question I probably get asked the most…
…and probably for good reason.
Let’s face it, without traffic you’re not going to get anywhere quickly.
Traffic is the fuel of your online engine.
As good as your online income generating ‘vehicle’ is, you ain’t going far without fuel.
And of course there is no one answer to traffic.
I personally get my traffic from a number of places; solos, getting a link on the download pages of other marketers, links on this blog, etc.
However the one method that was the first to bring me in significant, cost effective traffic in the early days…
…and one I keep returning back to, time and time again…
…is by utilising the Warrior Forum, and specifically the WSO (or Classified) section.
As a source of traffic you can’t beat WF if you are in the MMO or IM niche.
What you have is a population you absolutely KNOW are interested in your niche (why would they be on the forum if they didn’t have an interest in the topic?).
In effect YOU are going to the traffic, rather than trying to get the traffic to come to you.
Also most people on the forum are looking for answers.
So if you can provide something that answers those questions, you WILL get interest.
The expression shooting fish in a barrel comes to mind.
Therefore if you have no kind of list, and you want to change that quickly, here are the steps I followed:
1. Produce a product to giveaway or sell
2. Sort out some sort of upsell (can be your own products or related affiliate products)
3. Invest the $20 or so to get your WSO Classified ad up and running (making sure you have the WSO linked to your autoresponder).
That $20 will expose your offer to literally thousands of individuals browsing the forum.
Do you think a proportion might just take an interest in what you are offering?

To give you some numbers on this, the last WSO I put up a week or so ago (at time of writing) has brought in a total of 42 subscribers so far.
Not particularly brilliant…HOWEVER…
…even on the surface that is less than $0.50 a subscriber.
However it gets even better:
– Unlike a solo ad, these are subscribers that have been actively searching for information (hence they were on the WF), and therefore will tend to be more active.
– Because I had various offers on the back end (including continuity products), so I know I have more than covered the $20.
So if we consider the two points, I have added 42 ACTIVE subscribers on to my list for nothing (in reality I’ve made money on the deal).
Yes that’s right, I’ve added to my list an albeit modest number of subscribers, but I have also banked cash.
Who said finding traffic online has to be difficult or time consuming, or expensive?
So if you are someone in the MMO/IM niche and you are struggling for traffic, why not consider getting on to Warrior Forum and helping yourself to one of the best sources of highly targeted traffic out there.
