Hi Guys
Well I’m back in front of the PC after my family holiday sunning myself, and do you know I’m definitely in that ‘can’t really be bothered’ mood.
When I had a ‘proper’ job, this was a real pain in the nether regions.
As much as I wanted to just wanted to go down the pub and show off my white bits, I knew I had to buckle down and get stuck in if I still wanted my ‘proper’ job by the time of my next holiday.
Fortunately when you have your own business, this doesn’t matter too much as you do have a certain amount of flexibility with what you do and when you do it.
This is even more so when you run an online business.
One of the reasons for this is you do not have to rely on just your efforts.
Unlike a job where you get paid for the hours you put in.
Therefore even if you are the most motivated, dedicated, intelligent and keen worker, you still only have 24 hours in a day.
Internet marketing is different!
Internet marketing breaks the link between hours in the day and the money you make.
A good example of what I mean by this is what was presented to me when I got back off holiday.
Due to one reason and another I did VERY little on my business whilst on holiday…
…and I mean hardly anything…I was too busy deciding whether to spend time by the pool or at the beach!
Yet when I got back and checked out the affiliate sites I use along with my autoresponder I had to smile to myself.
Not only had my business grown (i.e. number of people subscribed to my lists increased)…
…but also I had made a whole bunch of cash through follow up mails and people promoting my products as affiliates.
That’s my kind of business.
Before you switch off and think just what I need, another kn*b’ boasting about his business…
…I only wanted to pass this on to show what is possible.
I know I’m not the world’s best internet marketer…I’m not even remotely close.
I know there is a hell of a lot I need to learn
I know there are a lot of other people who make oodles more than me…
…but none of this matters.
What does matter, is that I’m am just an ordinary guy, who read some books, watched some training videos and copied what other people were doing…
…and I still am…
…because I have seen it works.
And you can do it to…..if you want to.
I know sometimes it just seems like a pipe dream, or a fairy story.
But it doesn’t have to be.
You just need the right strategy and the right amount of motivation and commitment…
…and you could be coming home off holiday seeing how your business had actually grown without you.
It can happen for you and will if you just do the right things right.
Hopefully that will give you something to mull over if you are just going on or coming back from your annual holiday.
