Let’s be brutally honest here…

If you’re anything like me, you’re probably getting a bit fed up with all the AI tools being launched every five minutes, all promising to revolutionise your business and make you rich beyond your wildest dreams.

BUT, and it’s a big but, Jim is one of the very few marketers I trust implicitly.

The bloke has been making a living online since 1996 (yes, you read that right!), and unlike many of the fly-by-night merchants in this space, he creates tools that actually work.

So I decided to take a proper look at his Sales Event Formulator AI…

As I mentioned, Jim was kind enough to give me early review access to test this out properly, and I’ll say upfront that I was impressed.

It Actually Solves a Real Problem

Unlike many AI tools that seem to be solutions looking for problems, this one addresses something we all struggle with – creating timely, relevant marketing campaigns.

How many times have you realised it’s Valentine’s Day/Mother’s Day/Black Friday and thought “damn, I should have prepared something for this”?

With this tool, you can literally create a complete campaign in a matter of minutes.

The Results Are Actually Usable

I tested it with a few different affiliate offers and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the output. The emails weren’t the usual robotic AI drivel – they actually sounded like something a human would write (that’s not to say they couldn’t be made even better with a bit of tweaking).

More importantly, the content was relevant to the event and tied the promotion in naturally rather than feeling forced.

The Graphics Feature is an Unexpected Treat

This is the bit that really caught my attention. Not only does it create the written content, but it also generates professional-looking graphics for your campaigns.

If ou’re like me you have probably spent hours in the past trying to create decent-looking promotional graphics, so having this automated is a massive time-saver. The graphics it produced were genuinely good enough to use straight out of the box.

You even get to create different eras of ads. I personally loved the retro styles.

No Technical Hassles

One of my biggest bugbears with AI tools is all the mucking about with trying to link to AI tools with API keys and credit systems. This tool requires none of that nonsense – you just log in and start using it immediately.

Genuinely Evergreen Strategy

This isn’t some loophole that’ll be closed in six months. Sales events have been working for decades and will continue to work.

The tool just makes it easier for us little guys to tap into this strategy.

What I Liked Less

As much as I like the offer, nothing isperfct, so it’s only right I give you a balanced view, and let you know what I wasn’t so keen:

Image Creation Limitiations

While this is not directly an issue with the product itself, but it does have an impact.

The fact is when you create the images for the prompts provided, you are limited to just a few attempts at a time with the free version of ChatGPT.

This means you only have to try to do a few tweaks to a design and you are locked out for 24 hrs, which can be a little frustrating to say the least

Content Still Needs Tweaking

As good as the AI-generated content is, you’ll probably be unsurprised to hear that I still found myself wanting to add a bit of personal touch here and there.

So I’d say it’s definitely not quite a case of “set it and forget it” – you’ll want to review and refine the output.

That said, even with these tweaks, it still saves hours compared to creating everything from scratch.
