4 Months, $206 and 226 Subscribers…The FULL Story

In the latter part of last year, I signed up to Dual Squeeze as I thought it looked like an interesting proposition.

Well, a few months have passed and I wanted to share with you my findings, whether I thought it delivered on its promises and whether I would recommend it to anyone else.

In case you have never come across Dual Squeeze before, here is a quick summary of what it is.

The idea is that you can either:

Sign up for a free hosted done for you sales funnel that you can use to add subscribers to a list.  For this option, there is no cost and no contract.

OR

You can upgrade to the Full Dual Squeeze membership (a $1 trial followed by $27 pm), where you can still build your subscribers, but it also allows gives you the following extras:

– the ability to design/customise your own squeeze page for the DS offer

– get any subscribers added by people you signed up, added to your list (creating an automated list building element to the offer)

earn a 50% commission from anyone who signs up for the Dual Squeeze membership under you.

add a second upsell of your choice to the sales funnel (ie the sales funnel = DS Squeeze page àFull DS membership offer àyour offer

(If you want a bit more on how the membership works, take a look at the post I created just after I signed up HERE)

As I was more interested in the automated list building and potential income potential, I signed up for the for the second option, the full DS membership.

So after 4 months or so of using the system, here are my findings.

– so far the number of subscribers added by my ‘downline’ (i.e. the automated list building element) has been frankly disappointing, just the 2 to date.*

(*in fairness I have heard of others who use the service where the automated list building has worked a lot better, but in my case this has not been the case)

– in contrast, despite not actively focusing on promotion, the commissions received from full DS sales has far outstripped my outlay.  Since signing up, I have earned $206 in commissions and invested $109 in my membership.

It should also be said that these payments come from a continuity based membership model (my favourite 🙂 ) and so this is income I know id coming each month until members cancel.

– in addition to the profit I also gained 226 subscribers (19 of which have unsubscribed) that have signed up via my Dual Squeeze funnel…and these subscribers seem to be just as active as subscribers coming in from my other sales funnels

– what I can’t report on here is the number of sales I have made from my follow up email sequence and subsequent broadcast emails, as I have not been monitoring it that closely.

So in summary, in the months I have been involved and without focusing too much time or effort on promoting the offer:

Amount invested:             $109

Commissions earned:      $206

Net earned:                       $97

Subscribers added:           226

Subscribers lost: 19

Net Subscribers added:   205

Limited results because I have put in limited effort.  However, when you consider I have built my list AND earned just under $0.50 per subscriber for the privilege, I’m VERY happy.

So here are my honest considered opinions about Dual Squeeze:

  1. Don’t fall for the hype on automated list building, although other people have seen success, I haven’t and therefore suggest if you are hoping to sign up and have it build a list and create an income for you, I think you will be very disappointed. That said this IS something that works, IF you take with a pinch of salt the ‘totally automated’ claims (just see it as just a nice little extra if and when it happens).
  2. If you are brand new to list building and don’t feel comfortable about the technicalities of setting up a squeeze page, this is a great resource. Just sign up for the free option, and make sure you create an email sequence to start building a relationship with the individuals who subscribe (you can always invest in the full membership and benefit from the other elements once you are seeing some success)
  3. I have always said that having a continuity element in your business is an ABSOLUTE must to create a certain amount of stability and security when it comes to your online income. So with that in mind, this has to go down as probably one of the easiest, quickest (and cheapest) ways of incorporating a continuity element to your business.
  4. To really make the membership work, you need to see it as just another way to gain subscribers. As with any sales funnel, the real magic happens once you start communicating and building a relationship with your subscribers.

So would I recommend the membership?

Well the answer is a conditional YES.

Conditional on understanding that just like anything else out there, the totally automated claim is horse droppings.

If you don’t mind putting in the effort, i.e. finding some traffic and developing and helping your new subscribers, I would say this is an excellent membership/resource to consider.

I should add that one thing I have set up to help my Dual Squeeze subscribers is an exclusive Facebook group where we can all help each other to greater success.

So if you like the idea of the Dual Squeeze membership and sign up for the full membership via my link, you will have the option to join the group…completely free of charge.

If what you have read is of interest and are prepared to put in a bit of effort to promote the offer, you can sign up to Dual Squeeze (free or full) here:
