A few weeks back I found a service that claimed to be able to add leads to your autoresponder at a very low cost.
Now just to emphasise, that’s not clicks but actual opted-in leads.
(You can see the details of the offer HERE)
I did write to my subscribers at the time about the offer, but I was very careful not to fully recommend it as I’d only just signed up myself and although it looked legit, I didn’t have any proof regarding their claims.
Well, fast forward a few weeks and most of the promised subscribers have been delivered and so I feel more qualified to give the Resultsfuel offer a proper review.
So can you really get subscribers at less than the price of solo ad clicks?
Pros and Cons
As with most services, there are some pros and some cons, and I thought I would share them with you to see if this is something you could use yourself.
To give you the context, I purchased the 1000 lead package costing $195
Now remember this means I received 1000 leads and not just clicks
(There is a smaller package of 250 leads for those who just want to dip their toe in the water).
The solo ad clicks I had invested in recently averaged $0.42 per click (or $42 for 100 clicks).
My offer converted at just below 40%, which is a little lower than I would have liked (or expected), but better than most people experience.
So if we say 40% to keep the maths easy, I was getting 40 subscribers per 100 clicks or $42.
…so that’s $42/40
or $1.05 per lead.
Therefore using these ‘real world’ figures, to create the 1000 leads I got from this offer, from solo ads, I would have spent $1.05 x 1000
…or a grand total of $1050 on solo ad clicks!
Of course I recognise I probably could improve that figure with a bit of negotiation and by improving my conversion rates, but even so, I would be looking at around the $1k figure to add 1000 leads to my autoresponder list.
So from the point of investment and purely numbers, this is an extremely cost effective way of adding people to your list
At this point, the question that should be going through your head is “That’s all well and good, but how active are the leads that are added?”
After all, it doesn’t matter how much the leads do or don’t cost…
…if they are not active, they are not worth having.
And to be honest, prior to me clicking the buy button on Resultsfuel, this was my major concern.
As it happens I didn’t need to worry 🙂
The reality was that the stats were on a par; if not slightly better than the results I got from recent solo ads.
My Stats
My actual results were as follows: By the end of my initial welcome email sequence, I achieved an open rate of just under 8% and a click rate of 2.5%.
If you don’t have stats of your own to go on, I should tell you that for my regular emails, I like to see open rates of around 10% and click rates of around 1%.
Therefore the stats are in line with that, and even above it when it comes to the CTR (which arguably the more important stat!).
You can see from this that despite not costing as much as subscribers added via solo ads, they are in fact as active, if not more active.
So, all in all, you can expect pretty decent stats from the leads and a fraction of the price of going down the solo ad route.
Once this run has completed, I WILL be jumping back in and investing in more leads.
(I might even consider the recurring up-sell)
If you want to check the offer out for yourself in more detail you can see it HERE:
But as this is a true review, I will give you a couple of negatives that I thought it was important I passed on.
This will at least give you all the information you need to make an informed decision.
OK, the first one is that although the subscribers are opted in and are not shared…
…you are NOT the person that signed them up and therefore there is always the danger of them complaining about the emails you send.
As this was one of my main concerns from day one, I created a sequence of welcome emails to introduce myself and point out they could unsubscribe at any time.
The sequence offered lots of value to build a rapport as quickly as possible. This did the trick it seems 🙂
Therefore for anyone who signs up for the offer, you can claim the same sequence I used as a bonus!
You will need to amend them to make them personal to you, but I will also provide email support for getting your follow sequence set up.
ResultsFuel Automated Subscriber Offer
My second gripe was that it did take a longer period than expected to get the number of leads purchased.
To be honest, this wasn’t a huge problem for me, but I wanted to make sure you were aware that you might not get all the leads you order in the next few days.
So there you go, based upon what I have seen and experienced if you are looking to build your subscriber list quickly and cost-effectively as possible this is an offer that you really should check out.
I know it won’t be for everyone, but for some of you building your lists, this might be just the sort of service that will kickstart your efforts.
Please let me know if you have any questions, I’m more than happy to share my experience in further detail.
EDIT: Since writing this review, I have chatted with another customer of the Resultsfuel offer, and he informed me that their support is also very good. He had made a mistake with regards to his autoresponder settings, and the Resultfuel support could do enough for him.
So not only a great service, but also great support.
EDIT II: I have now ordered the 1000 lead package on 4 separate occasions and I am confident I will be going back many more times. They have also added a huge 10,000 lead offer. This is a serious investment, BUT you are getting leads at $0.10, which is absolutely fantastic value.
I can also report that I have many sales that have come directly from the Resultsfuel leads, including some high ticket sales.
