This morning I received an email that got my week off to a great start.
At the same time it reinforced a very important part of being a marketer.
So what did this mail have to say?
Well it was from a customer who had purchased one of my Done4U sales funnels.
The chap…I’ll call him ‘D’ for now as I have not asked him permission to use his name yet…invested in the funnel and set it up.
He then came back to me and ordered a Solo Ad to send some traffic.
All very standard stuff.
I then sent my usual mail on completion of the Solo to provide stats and see how things went…I think this follow up is very important.
Now for the good stuff.
D wrote back to inform me, that not only had he already made several Jvzoo commissions…
…AND a Clickbank one
…he had not even completed the follow up emails.
To quote directly from his mail…
“To say I’m happy is a massive understatement!”
As praise can sometimes be as rare as a sincere comment from Simon Cowell, it really started my week on a high.
But there is a message here that is more important than just me giving a reason for the smug grin I’m wearing.
The moral of this story is that as marketers, we should never
lose sight of the fact that if we are doing things right we will
be helping others.
Think about that for a moment.
The next time you are embarrassed or worried about sending a (quality) offer to your list to make money for yourself and your family…think again.
We are all here to make a crust, there is nothing wrong with that…
…As long as you are providing others with things they want or need!
Things that will help them…or entertain them…or interest them.
I hope my stumbling attempt to get my point across has made sense, but if not, let me quote someone a lot more intelligent than myself…
Zig Ziglar said, “You can have everything you want in life if you just help enough other people get what THEY want.”

If you are interested in the funnel that ‘D’ used, including the feedback it’s getting, you can check it out below…
Done4U Sales Funnel WSO
It’s a WSO, so you can see directly the feedback I’ve gotten so far.
At time of writing it doesn’t include ‘D’s feedback yet, but I will be asking him to update it with his thoughts and comments as soon as I can.
As always I’d be glad to hear your thoughts and comment about what I’ve written here.
